- [ ] Canonicals use the preferred HTTPS hostname and clean URL.
- [ ] Sitemap includes only canonical indexable pages.

## On-page quality
- [ ] Each page serves a distinct search intent.
- [ ] Titles and descriptions are accurate and unique.
- [ ] Use one clear H1 and meaningful heading structure.
- [ ] Internal links connect related content and resources.
- [ ] Author, evidence and limitations are visible.
- [ ] Structured data reflects visible, verified content.

## Performance and access
- [ ] Test mobile navigation and keyboard focus.
- [ ] Reserve image dimensions and optimize large assets.
- [ ] Defer embeds and optional analytics.
- [ ] Measure Core Web Vitals; do not substitute guesses.

## Migration
- [ ] Export existing URLs separately from the new content strategy.
- [ ] Map moved URLs to relevant equivalents using 301 redirects.
- [ ] Keep a tested backup and rollback procedure.
- [ ] Inspect Search Console after launch and investigate anomalies.
